Lead design and coordination of electrical systems for K12/healthcare projects

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Work collaboratively with our firm’s integrated engineers, architects and interior designers in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. -Develop solutions to electrical system challenges with multi-discipline coordination. -Perform site surveys and coordinate with the electric utility for assessment of renovation or new construction needs. -Review CA related items and perform site observations during construction. -Mentor and train junior level team members. -Coordinate construction documents for small to medium-sized projects. -Design building electrical systems including power distribution and lighting design, along with familiarity of fire alarm and low voltage systems.

What You Bring

-Understand codes, standards, and guidelines related to the practice of building design. -Be familiar with software for performing electrical loads, short circuit analysis, and lighting calculations. -A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Architectural Engineering or equivalent. -Revit experience required -7+ years of experience -PE Required
