The Role

Overview

Assist project managers in coordinating commercial construction projects.

Tasks

-Responsible for inspection of work in place on site -Coordination of subcontractors, including review of scope, submittals and schedules -Schedule and supervise all required testing and monitor result -Manage administrative procedures and maintain all records for the project -Evaluate subcontractor change proposals and prepare change orders

What You Bring

-Excellent computer skills a must Microsoft Office, Excel, and Project; Procore and Sage 300 a plus. -Willingness to travel to construction sites and the home office -Familiarity with construction methods and materials -Able to access all areas of the jobsite that includes stairs, scaffolding, ladders, elevation changes, etc. -Capacity to work well under pressure and enforce project schedules -Have a good working knowledge of all project documents, including specifications, plans, submittals, subcontracts, shop drawings, scheduling and any other project specific documents -Demonstrated experience working with cross functional team members to achieve goals -1-3+ years commercial construction experience -Able to work in all elements of the outdoor environment which include the heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, etc. -Strong mathematical skills -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -OSHA 10, OSHA 30 desired -Capable of working in physical positions that may include kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting, bending over, etc. -Preferred four (4) year degree in a construction-related curriculum or equivalent field -Reliable transportation to and from the project
