Tasks

-Upholding company safety policies on assigned projects. -Meets with and conducts monthly training with the DeAngelis Diamond onsite team. -Trains and monitors onsite DeAngelis Diamond employees to focus on being leaders to ensure a safe workplace for all construction workers. -Helping DeAngelis Diamond employees and the project workforce to think more proactively than reactively. -Works with onsite Superintendents to provide guidance and correct any safety infractions. -Working heavily with the Director of Field Operations in launching and executing successful projects. -Team up with other high-performing coworkers. -Conducts regular documented safety inspections noting positive safety items and any safety infractions.

What You Bring

-PTO: 1st year: 8 days; Years 2-5: 18 days; 6-10 Years: 23 days, 11+ Years: 28 days -Detail-oriented mindset with a positive "can do" attitude. -5+ years of experience as a construction Safety Manager or have grown through DD's career path leading to this role. -Able to function in a positive, friendly, high-energy, and collaborative environment. -Ability to hold and deliver safety stand-downs with and influential voice that will command attention and change. -Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Box, DocuSign, Textura, and Bluebeam. -Strong personal integrity and has the highest ethical standards. -Ability to prepare and present continuous improvement PowerPoint training sessions to DeAngelis Diamond team members. -Must have a team-minded approach while being a leader on project sites that fosters a healthy safety culture. -Outstanding communicator; that can synthesize complex information into simple, actionable insights and ability to communicate safety program elements with construction and non-construction team members equally. -Minimum OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training; OSHA 500/510 desired. -Costco or Sam’s Club membership
