Tasks
-Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis; -Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements, explain / defend work, etc. -Provide engineering review of stormwater and erosion control plans. -Develop and formulate cost-effective, technical solutions to client problems on assigned projects. -Preparing technical reports and related documents with Microsoft Suite programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and -Guide more junior team members with aspects of their job and may coordinate activities of a small team. -Apply proven experience to the planning and design of water resources projects, including H&H modeling and floodplain mapping, stormwater quality modeling, flood control projects, stormwater treatment, site development, and transportation-related drainage design. -Collaborate with other groups across AECOM offices. -Drafting, mapping, and modeling software: AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS; -Field work may be required on an occasional basis to support land surveyor and construction engineers. -Prepare permit applications and pursue approval. -Develop scopes of work and budgets for water resources projects or for water resources components of larger projects. -Prepare construction plans, specifications, construction cost estimates, correspondence, and reports with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision. -Stormwater and floodplain mapping; -Provide guidance to entry level engineers. -Communicate and work with other project team members to provide quality service to clients to ensure that all documentation conforms to client/company standards.

What You Bring
-Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. -Civil engineering design; -Water resources modeling programs: PCSWMM, EPA-SWMM, XPSWMM, WinSLAMM, HydroCAD, or HY-8; -May telecommute. -Passed the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering exam. -Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
