The Role

Interact with prospects/residents, market, lease, and manage community operations.

Tasks
-Accompany vendors to vacant and/or occupied units, as needed -Maintain and follow up on traffic in queue -Shop competitive properties at least monthly; Adhere to daily marketing and leasing strategies -Walk marketing tour path, open target viewing apartments, ensure clean and rent ready apartments, model homes and community amenities -Ensure successful leasing by facilitating the application process at the end of the tour -Ensure leasing office is clean, orderly, and professionally presentable at all times -Tour prospective residents with energy and enthusiasm the Weidner way -Prompt, regular attendance; wear company dress code / uniform & maintain professional appearance at all times -Answer incoming calls, convert phone calls into walk in traffic, set viewing appointments -Follow all company key logging and storing procedures -Complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner -Promote safety and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to minimize exposure to hazards that cause workplace injury and illness -Assist team with distributing resident correspondence and notices while maintaining privacy of confidential and sensitive information -Collect revenues; including rents, deposits and fees -Accept and document service requests; follow up upon completion -Respond to resident and prospective resident calls and emails promptly in the morning -Follow Weidner Move In Experience with all approved applicants -Assist with lease renewals in a timely manner and promote resident retention -Timely and respectful communication with applicants upon receiving results -Create, store and maintain residential files, while ensuring strict confidentiality -Review and process all applications immediately upon receipt -Follow Weidner’s Mission, Vision and Values and comply with all Weidner policies and procedures as well as all Fair Housing, local, state/province, and federal laws -Inspect, respond to, and follow up with safety issues, accidents, liabilities and emergency situations immediately -Ensure market ready apartments, common areas and amenities are clean and maintained daily to Weidner’s quality standards

What You Bring
-Must have access to personal vehicle and/or reliable transportation, at all times -Ability to work outside of normal scheduled hours as needed -Prior customer service experienced required -Working knowledge of English; detail oriented, well organized -Regular and effective communication with Community Director -Experienced in Microsoft products preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) -Yardi and Paycom experience preferred; Willing and able to learn new software programs -Driver’s license, vehicle and vehicle insurance must be valid and unexpired at all times and match the country in which associate will work -Must agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing -Work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment and/or independently -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong motivation to learn & contribute on a daily basis -Willing and able to be assigned to other Weidner properties as needed -Able to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email, and text
