Tasks

-Collaborate with customers to develop concepts and test complex machines. -Design custom automated equipment for the automotive industry using FEA, GD&T, and 3D CAD. -Work with mechanical and electrical components such as gearboxes, electric motors, and load cells. -Support manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure project timelines are adhered to. -Research, quote, and select components for automated equipment. -Implement necessary design changes during the manufacturing phase.

What You Bring

-Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Engineering or a Master's degree. -Experience with hydraulics or pneumatics. -Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA). -5-10 years of experience in machine design. -Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) expertise. -Experience in automation equipment for the automotive industry. -Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor. -Knowledge of custom automation equipment. -SolidWorks proficiency. -Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), or associate degree with relevant experience.
