Tasks
-Ensure that DCs maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Company policies and procedures -Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste, and cost reduction. -Ensure DCs deliver world class customer service through operational excellence -Conduct all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures -Work closely with DCs to provide them with the necessary tools required to operate efficiently and to grow the business profitably -Create and maintain the foundation for standard work for business processes -Develop and maintain SOP’s for operational processes -Drive constant improvement in the distribution process -Planning, facilitating and executing continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodology. -Creating a culture of improvement by encouraging suggestions and implementing improvements. -Develop and maintain training materials for processes -Complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery and sustainability.

What You Bring
-Ability to create and implement new directions in an effort to lead the region to achieve its full potential -Proven ability to embrace and encourage teamwork -University degree or college diploma required -Must be able to commute daily into our Woodbridge, ON facility -Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S -Must be able to travel up to 40% of the time (Once a month, sometimes twice a month) -Minimum 5 years work experience in a Distribution continuous improvement environment. i.e. WMS, automation, DC processes, project management -Possess effective planning, organizing and delegating skills -Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices -Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred -Experience in successfully implementing changes in an organization -Strong communication, active listening and influencing skills -Requires a minimum 10 year’s experience in a Distribution environment
