Lead and advance enterprise security, managing risk, incidents, and compliance across IT.

Tasks
-Conduct proactive vulnerability assessments and remediation activities. -Develop and manage budgets related to IT security expenses. -Develop and maintain relationships with IT leaders, business unit leaders, and other stakeholders. -Timely response to and resolution of security threats. -Evangelizing modern security concepts and technologies across the organization. -Create and maintain an IT security roadmap aligned with strategic objectives. -Track and report on project portfolio progress to various stakeholder groups. -Maintain compliance with operational standards required for cyber insurance, C-TPAT certification, and other applicable regulations. -Oversee operational monitoring for potential cyber incidents and lead incident response as necessary. -Ensure business continuity of the company’s IT infrastructure meets defined RTO/RPO goals. -Lead organizational training and awareness initiatives on potential cyber vulnerabilities. -Promoting secure business progress with a solutions-focused, “getting to yes” approach. -Lead the planning and execution of enterprise IT security initiatives. -Manage an upgrade program to remediate end-of-life and end-of-service IT infrastructure components. -Manage, develop, and coach direct reports and team members to ensure effective performance. -Commission projects and initiatives to advance the IT security agenda. -Ensure appropriate privacy and data protection solutions are implemented and effective. -Fostering a culture built on zero trust and least privilege security principles. -Timely response and resolution of security threats -Participate in enterprise architecture discussions and broader IT roadmap and strategic planning functions.

What You Bring
-Recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable. -Risk-Based Vulnerability Management tools -Zero Trust solutions (e.g., Zscaler) -Strong technical knowledge in network security, software vulnerabilities, and system architecture. -At least 10 years in progressively senior IT roles, including experience leading security teams and delivering enterprise-level solutions. -Managed Detection and Response (MDR) -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred). -Azure and other cloud environments -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. -Passion for learning and staying current on emerging security trends. -EDR, NDR, and XDR technologies -Proven leadership and team development skills. -Experience with frameworks like ISO 27001/2, NIST, and CIS is an asset. -Microsoft Security Suite & Microsoft Purview -Full compliance with regulatory requirements and successful audit outcomes
