The Role

Overview

Hands‑on performance testing and data analysis at RWE gas‑fired power stations.

Tasks

-Support both routine and high-profile contractual tests, including witnessing OEM-led acceptance activities, ensuring high-quality data analysis, and learning how test results drive commercial and engineering decisions in a dynamic energy market -Develop thermodynamic models and analyse and interpret the test results. -Collaborate with experienced performance engineers to collect and validate operational and test data, using advanced digital tools and expert systems -Engage directly in hands-on plant performance testing across RWE’s gas-fired power stations (UK and potentially European Union)

What You Bring

-A strong aptitude in analytical methods is essential. You will be using the latest analytical and visualisation tools, such as Seeq, PI Vision and other specialized software. -Ideally, you are pursuing a degree in an Engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical or Chemical/Process), with an interest in the energy industry and knowledge of engineering fundamentals such as thermodynamics.
