Tasks

-Project Time Management - Ensures that all the specific activities (including proactive claim management) that must be performed to produce the various project deliverables are identified and being carried out by the project team. -Project Risk Management - Implements a risk management plan involving all stakeholders of the project. Consistently tracks all risk activities through the life cycle of the project. Puts in place accurate performance metrics to score risk and ensures communication of risk. -Tender Validation - Validate delivery model, commitments, and risks & opportunities of tenders. -Project Integration Management – Identifies all parties (internal & external stakeholders) having a vested interest in the project and ensures their needs and impacts are balanced to make sure that there is a win-win outcome in line with the contractual obligations. -EHS - Takes an active part in the communication & implementation of EHS plans and ensures a consistent approach in business decisions that impact on EHS; represents the Company when needed in related legal aspects.; ensures that EHS is integrated into the project strategy.

What You Bring

-Project management in an international environment (preferred) with experience managing multidisciplinary teams with multiple interfaces and high project local content. -Minimum 5 years' experience of leading 66 KV city and loop substation projects with the ability to influence others and lead large teams. -Minimum 10 years of HV substation experience -Project Scope Management - Demonstrates the ability not only to manage the overall scope of the project but also to oversee the scope of each participating entity to ensure all interfaces/overlaps are understood. -Solid understanding of Contract Management and Project Planning -Good technical knowledge Grid Business understanding and knowledge in the project management -Outstanding interpersonal and strong communication skills, capable of influencing and driving regional counterparts. -Ability to work effectively across functions. -Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. -Effective problem identification and solution skills. -Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills, customer-focused, and enthusiastic. -Project management experience in Gulf countries, preferably in Bahrain -Electrical/electronic engineering degree/diploma -Willingness and ability to travel >40% of the time -GE Vernova GSI project management process experience is an advantage. -PMP certification is essential. -Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. -Strong understanding of risk management with GE process -Proven experience in EWA retrofitting projects, especially switchgear replacement and ICS modifications -Proven analytical and organizational ability. -Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. -Project Cost & Finance Management - Understands and demonstrates financial management for the benefit of the Company, can understand financial reports and systems sufficiently to know the financial status of a project, at any given time. Ensures that resources are best utilized. -Ability to understand and improve complex processes in a cross-functional environment.
