Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

Design and deliver mechanical building services for high‑profile projects.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Preparing technical specifications and schedules and design development reports. -Attending design team meetings, client meetings, pre-contract and post-contract meetings. -Attend site progress meetings as and when required, together with monitoring Contractor’s -Develop and produce reports, specifications, guidance notes and general correspondence ensuring quality and technical quality standards are met -Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams -Carry out site surveys for projects, to obtain all relevant information required for carrying out scheme design. -Working as part of a design team delivering detailed design -Reviewing and commenting on information provided by the client, contractors and other members of the professional team.

What You Bring

Experience Required -have a good understanding of secondary discipline. -Possess good technical knowledge in your primary discipline of mechanical services design and; -Degree qualified and having completed several projects from inception to competition as a mechanical design engineer. -Preferably a graduate with a minimum of 5-6 years relevant experience in building services design.
