Tasks

-Engage in continuing education to develop skills and keep certifications current -Perform test boring/test pit observations, laboratory analysis, and preparation of geotechnical calculations and reports -Project coordination and project management of Special Inspection and Construction Materials Testing work -Perform special inspections, various field inspections, and materials testing as needed (soils, concrete, masonry, steel) -Prepare engineering studies and reports -Implement Quality Assurance, and assurance of field and laboratory adherence to technical standards and applicable codes -Perform a variety of functions under direction of Senior Professional Engineer

What You Bring

-Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or related -Strong organizational skills -Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook -Ability to maintain effective working relationships with managers, co-workers and clients -Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) Certificate -Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license -Familiarity with construction materials, procedures and documents a plus
