Tasks
-Lead or support design and development tasks, including requirement analysis, design architecture, schematics, PCB design, DFMEAs, simulations, and documentation. -Test product changes and new products to ensure standards compliance. -Support new business quotations and VA/VE activities. -Engage in problem-solving using methods like 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Why. -Reviewing and discussing technical requirements with OEM Customers -Investigate project issues at module and vehicle levels. -Create and execute design verification test plans. -Launch new products using the Eaton PROLaunch process. -Interface with customers and internal teams for technical presentations and product requirements. -Prepare design documentation for release. -Conduct electrical design reviews and interface with component manufacturers. -Support vehicle builds, product launches, and production quality investigations. -Collaborate with a global team to develop, launch, and sustain products. -Participate in supplier and production line audits. -Monitor and control electrical projects, including work planning, team meetings, and risk management. -Assist with pre-production product building, validation, and evaluation. -Evaluate product change impacts and make update decisions. -Generate product specifications from customer input. -Update product designs based on customer needs, manufacturing opportunities, and supply base. -Developing project work plans and project risk management -Participate in requirements evaluation, design reviews, and product development.

What You Bring
-Good understanding of commercial vehicle markets, environmental requirements and related qualification testing required, including AIAG components (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, etc.) -Experience with product development from concept to release, including sustaining -Minimum of five (5) years working in new product development and sustaining product engineering -Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution, Masters preferred. -Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Mexico without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
