Tasks

-Oversee: Manage the delivery of complex tasks and projects, ensuring budget adherence and technical excellence. Lead the technical delivery on multiple projects, reviewing work produced by others to ensure timely and accurate results. -Ensure Quality: Ensure design compliance with all applicable standards and regulations, providing technical expertise for interdisciplinary analytical studies. -Collaborate: Work closely with clients to develop scope, price proposals, and communicate project progress. Collaborate with our Project Managers and Lead Design Engineers to solve problems and deliver benefits to the communities we serve. -Develop: Support the development of junior team members and undertake line management responsibilities. -Provide Expertise: Offer technical knowledge and expertise to the design team at all stages, including feasibility studies, outline design, detailed designs, and preparing technical specifications.

What You Bring

-Experience in designing and managing the technical delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure upgrade schemes from feasibility and outline design to detailed design and construction support. -Proven experience within the water sector at the Principal Engineer level, ideally within the UK&I or with a good appreciation of UK&I norms and standards. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
