Tasks

-Carry out other entry-level duties as assigned to support the Project Manager and subcontractors -Enter and maintain drawing updates in our project files -Perform basic measuring and data collection tasks during site visits (with supervision) -Participate in training to learn company and industry detailing standards -Help check drawings for accuracy and completeness before they are sent for approval or fabrication -Support coordination between detailing, fabrication, and field teams -Assist with preparing and updating shop drawings based on contract documents

What You Bring

-Learn to read and interpret construction drawings for structural and miscellaneous steel -Good communication and teamwork skills -Strong attention to detail, a positive “can-do” attitude, and an eagerness to learn -Coursework in drafting, engineering, or related field preferred, but not required -Basic understanding of drafting principles; construction knowledge is a plus but not required -Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SDS/2, or Tekla a plus, but not required — training provided) -2-4 year college degree required
