Tasks

To facilitate support to and integration within the business management teams, the Environment Advisor has a primary responsibility to focus on environmental risks across group operations. The Group Environmental Department will liaise with business heads to ensure there is a common understanding about priorities and initiatives across the Robertson Group as a whole, the individual businesses and the SHE environmental support needed to deliver these. -Attend and participate at SHE Department meetings; -Assist in writing Environmental Management Plans; -Attend and participate at Robertson Group business units’ SHE meetings, as required; -Liaise with other SHE professionals within the business to further SHE performance. -Contribute to reviewing and improving the environmental management system; -Conduct site governance inspections and audits in line with agreed programmes. -Assist in writing Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans; -Produce written reports in relation to governance inspections, audits and investigations in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols; -Provide support and advice to project teams, business units and to other business functions (e.g. Sustainability and Quality) on environmental risks including regulatory matters. -Assist in writing Method Statements, Risk Assessments or any other SHE related documents associated with the management of SHE on a project or contract. -Deliver in-house environmental training courses;
