Lead product development for commercial battery storage solutions at Enphase.
-Analyze competitive products to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. -Cultivate and manage relationships with key partners, including distribution networks and installers. -Lead cross-functional teams in new product introductions and beta program initiatives, ensuring agile, market-responsive development. -Define and document product features and system requirements via comprehensive Market Requirements Documents (MRDs). -Serve as the primary customer advocate by gathering feedback and translating needs into actionable product features. -Develop product-related content and training materials to support sales and account management teams. -Collaborate closely with onshore and offshore development teams in the USA, India, and New Zealand to communicate specifications and prioritize activities. -Meet with installers, commercial building owners, and end users to document requirements and identify pain points. -Perform comprehensive market research using industry reports and other data sources to understand market sizes, trends, and emerging opportunities. -Evaluate local, national, and international codes and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
-Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline. -Demonstrated experience in battery storage product development; experience with commercial or industrial battery storage is preferred. -Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven leadership in cross-functional team settings. -Prior experience with commercial battery storage systems. -Advanced degree (Master’s in engineering or MBA) from a reputed institution. -Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving agile product development initiatives. -Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in product management, software development, systems engineering, or related field. -Ability and willingness to collaborate with global (onshore and offshore) teams.
