Tasks

-Prepare and assist in the preparation of project schedules -Collects and analyzes data for inclusion in project plans and reports -Review project quantity estimates, details, and check calculations and drawings for compliance with project requirements -Prepare and assist in the preparation of project specifications -Assists and prepares project plans using OpenRoads Designer -Contributes to the preparation and/or modification of engineering reports and calculations for a wide variety of projects -Prepares and assists in the preparation of project construction quantities and cost estimates

What You Bring

-Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines -Experience with OpenRoads Designer is preferred -EIT (E.I) Certification is desired but not required -Valid driver’s license -A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR) -2 - 4 years of experience -BS in Civil Engineering
