Description

Requirements

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in manufacturing planning systems, with strong communication skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. While this role primarily operates Monday through Friday, occasional Saturday work may be required based on business demands. This full-time, exempt position reports directly to the COO: Chief Operations Officer.

The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the master production schedule to ensure that customer demands are met efficiently while maximizing the use of manufacturing resources. This role serves as the key link between sales, production, purchasing, and inventory control — ensuring that production activities are aligned with company goals for delivery, quality, and cost.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
• Requires frequent interaction with production, engineering, and operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor, JobBOSS, etc.).
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• APICS/CPIM certification is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Acumatica
• 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Schedule adherence (% on-time production completion)
• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Accuracy of forecast vs. actual production
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
