Tasks

-Leading designated task assignments and reporting progress to senior staff -Communicate with clients and potential clients to obtain and execute projects to client satisfaction -Provide assistance with feasibility studies, environmental planning documents, and proposing changes for highway projects to improve traffic efficiency and safety. -Traffic Signal Design and Plan preparation -Perform traffic analysis and preparation of traffic studies, safety and reports -Oversee final project plan and document preparation -Signing and Pavement Marking Plan preparation

What You Bring

-Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD -Professional Engineering License (PE) with ability to obtain PE license in multiple states -Demonstrated traffic engineering experience -Familiarity with MUTCD, and NCDOT policies and procedures -Experience with HCS and GuideSign software -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Ability to lead, provide direction and collaborate effectively in a team environment -Familiarity with Synchro, VISSIM, and Transmodeler software preferred
