Water Resources Project Manager

Manage delivery of wastewater, stormwater, and water supply projects on Vancouver Island.

Tasks

-Prepare, supervise and provide technical review of design drawings, engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates. -Coordinate and communicate with internal team and external clients/agencies. -Development of key clients on Vancouver Island. -Manage delivery of wastewater, stormwater and water supply projects, including linear infrastructure and pump stations, and supporting stormwater and utility aspects of highway design projects. -Prepare of scopes of work and technical client proposals. -Oversee establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required. -Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and subconsultants. -Lead and supervise project teams. -Act as Parsons' representative with the client and external team for program delivery. -Participate in project meetings including site visits and field inspections. -Market and secure additional work with client.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field). -Ability to apply advanced engineering techniques and practices as well as solve complex engineering problems. -Experience working in Victoria with Regional District and BC Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure is preferred. -10+ years of experience with wastewater, stormwater and water supply projects. -Professional Engineer (P.Eng) required. -Must have the ability to manage projects, interact with clients and enjoy being hands-on technically in projects. -Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards. -Understanding of AutoCAD/Civil 3D to enable management of design teams. -Proven written and oral communications skills.
