Tasks
-Oversee the operations involved in the construction and testing of prototype products -Participate in analysis on field failure units for root cause analysis and help implement corrective actions and improvement activities based on findings -Prepare designs, specifications, analysis, and recommendations for quality improvements of existing product -Collaborate with NPD teams to ensure knowledge sharing and handover on new products post-release -Participate to ensure Danfoss Drives maintains a high product quality and performance level while driving continuous improvement. -Prepare test plans and perform testing required for qualification of new products, or changes to existing products for engineering purposes, as well as compliance to standards -Maintain records pertinent to each project in the form of time, sketches, drawings, material specifications, test records -Responsible for contributing to the design and development of product adaptations and quality improvements for existing product lines; -Render technical advice and assistance to other product engineering center personnel as to designs, material specifications, information sources and testing procedures -Participate as core team member to Implement feasible product cost-down ideas including managing technical specs and testing and qualification activities -Assist production test and manufacturing teams as needed in case of design related failures on the production line -Prepare SOPs and instructions for technicians to perform first layer field failure analysis

What You Bring
-5 years experience in areas related to product design and development and/or engineering research of variable frequency drive products or power conversion equipment. -3 years experience with computer aided engineering design tools, including Matlab, MathCad and Pspice. -2 years experience with any 3 of the following: IGBT/Power semiconductors, Power topologies, Analog Design/control electronics, or Magnetics/filters. -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. -3 years experience with power supplies, oscilloscopes, meters, function generators and experiment setup and measurement.
