The Construction Manager will lead and manage all phases of data center and mission-critical construction projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This Houston-based role requires a strategic, detail-driven professional with deep expertise in complex MEP-intensive facilities and mission-critical program execution

  • Lead the overall execution of data center and mission-critical construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning and turnover.
  • Review submittals, RFI responses, and design packages to ensure constructability and compliance with project specifications.
  • Support commissioning planning by coordinating with Cx teams, OEMs, and trade contractors.
  • Oversee complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scopes—ensuring integration, quality, and sequencing align with mission-critical requirements.
  • Coordinate daily with project managers, design teams, field staff, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of all construction activities.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, sequencing, manpower forecasting, and issue escalation.
  • Ensure resources, equipment, and materials are planned and allocated effectively to maintain project momentum.
  • Drive scope, schedule, and budget adherence, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans.
  • Serve as a primary on-site interface with clients, trade partners, commissioning teams, and vendors.

  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, critical infrastructure, QA/QC, and commissioning workflows.
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, P6, or similar) and digital reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage subcontractors in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex construction projects, ideally within mission-critical/data center environments.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interface directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
