The Role

Manage, maintain, and improve corporate AV and conferencing systems enterprise-wide.

Tasks
-Set up, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot teleconferencing and multimedia equipment. -Support end-user training and onboarding; create and maintain user guides and technical documentation. -Evaluate and review vendor AV designs, schematics, and construction documentation, providing feedback to ensure scalability, maintainability, and alignment with standards. -Administer, develop, monitor, and maintain AV systems including conferencing platforms, control systems, digital signage, and integrated room technologies. -Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. -Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of corporate AV solutions across meetings, conference, and training rooms. -Use AV system monitoring tools and remote management platforms. -Train users on technology implementations, enhancing user experience through documentation. -Conduct research and recommend AV products to support procurement and development efforts. -Contribute to the development and enforcement of AV standards and best practices. -Ensure compliance with building codes and ADA requirements related to AV installations. -Work with vendors and contractors on AV design and implementation. -Drive vendor performance to ensure project completion with stakeholder sign-off. -Collaborate with policy-makers to establish and enforce AV practices and procedures. -Troubleshoot and provide Tier 2/3 support for AV issues. -Advise on AV equipment purchases and assist with installation. -Perform onsite analysis and resolution of complex AV hardware problems, recommending corrective solutions. -Develop and recommend policies and procedures to enhance AV processes and quality assurance. -Maintain accurate documentation of AV systems, configurations, and support procedures. -Develop long-term strategies and capacity plans for future AV and corporate technology needs. -Manage daily video conference operations and related AV items; monitor and audit conferences for quality and user experience, recommending enhancements.

What You Bring
-Travel as required; position requires onsite presence in Dallas office. -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and construction documents. -Strong project management and organizational skills. -Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines independently. -Undergraduate or graduate degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Hands-on technical skills combined with leadership capability. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). -4+ years of professional experience as an Audio-Visual Engineer and/or Leader. -Advanced knowledge of AV tools, platforms, and methodologies (Crestron, Extron, QSC, Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, digital signage). -Apply networking fundamentals and AV-over-IP knowledge.
