Tasks

The Internal Communications Specialist position is primarily responsible for managing an internal social media platform across the entire organization, including monitoring, responding to, and escalating activity on the platform, and supports the building of interdepartmental, organizational connections, providing accurate information and policy updates all while acting in accordance with company mission, vision and values. -Make recommendations regarding information and messaging to be presented to employees -Innovate and create new content and ideas to improve overall internal communication -Manage platform channel health -Assist with training and immersion efforts of the internal communication channels and tools -Capture, design, edit, and publish videos and photography on company website and employee communication app -Edit and revise content as necessary -Assist in making key judgements and recommendations based off data analysis -Present actionable reports to marketing and company departments -Ensure consistent framing of communication in alignment with brand messaging -Maintain the editorial calendar -Develop well written content aimed to enhance the platform and the organization -Monitor employee sentiment through a variety of channels, tools and methods -Support ideas with research and experience, including spending time in the field -Coordinate communication messages with company events or initiatives -Maintain internal communications files, vendor relationships, and other assets as assigned -Respond to and escalate if need be, communication activity across the platform -Analyze data and produce actionable reports that will be used to inform strategic decision-making -Support internal communications output in a timely manner

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication or other related field preferred -Prior construction or industry related experience preferred -Strong Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office software systems -Exceptional verbal, written, analytical, and reasoning skills
