Tasks

-Support business development and estimating teams by creating innovative material supply strategies for large infrastructure projects -Monitor project success by tracking forecasted, budgeted, and actual material pricing -Track commodity markets to identify and mitigate material risks -Expedite material deliveries by managing manufacturing, shipment, and receipt status -Establish and maintain strategic vendor relationships worldwide -Negotiate contracts with successful material supply bids -Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures -Lead material bid processes by soliciting pricing from a global supplier network -Manage and oversee Procurement and Expeditor team members

-Strong industry relationships with vendors and subcontractors -Ability to communicate effectively with executive-level management -Proven knowledge in construction contract administration, EPC procurement, and business law -Prior experience collaborating with engineering teams and contractors on material specifications and bill of materials reviews -Self-starter with the ability to work independently while supporting a team -Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field -Experience managing a procurement team -8+ years of industry experience -2+ years of people management experience -Industry experience in T&D/Energy/Substation —candidates with procurement experience solely in oil/gas will not be considered -Open to individuals with demonstrated Project Management experience in the electric power industry. -Strong electrical background is essential -Percent of Time: Up to 25% to regional or client offices. -Strong customer service and time management skills -Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) industry -Experience with supplier and subcontractor prequalification, Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, contract generation, vendor submittal management, and expediting oversight on EPC T&D projects -Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
