Tasks

-Evaluate proposal software options and make recommendations to senior leadership. -Respond to sales enquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely follow-up. -Log and manage quotations using Access Database and CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot). -Collaborate with departments such as Accounts and Projects to support resource planning. -Raise internal sales orders from client purchase orders and link them to relevant quotations. -Prepare accurate and detailed estimates using standard templates and Excel. -Contribute to the development of a more efficient estimating and quotation system. -Provide technical information and lead time estimates to clients. -Include third-party equipment and components from group companies as needed.

What You Bring

-Commercial awareness and attention to detail. -Excellent communication skills and ability to work across all levels of the business. -Familiarity with CRM systems such as Hubspot. -Ability to assess and recommend new tools or software to improve processes. -Strong proficiency in MS Office 365, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access. -Proven experience in a manufacturing estimating role, preferably within engineering or machinery.
