The Role

Overview

Lead planning, coordination, and execution of anchor bolt installation on heavy civil projects.

Tasks

-Manage daily field operations for anchor bolt and foundation installation activities, including layout, verification, and quality control. -Select and coordinate appropriate construction equipment for each task, ensuring equipment capability aligns with production needs and site conditions. -Lead pre-task planning sessions to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies. -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Collaborate with designers and engineers to resolve constructability issues, review RFI responses, and implement design changes effectively. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Utilize Primavera P6 or other scheduling tools to monitor progress, identify variances, and adjust resources as required. -Develop, maintain, and share work documentation using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote with a high degree of independence. -Prepare progress reports, work packages, and performance metrics for leadership and client review. -Promote a culture of “planning before execution” to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently. -Develop detailed work plans and construction schedules that account for crew size, budgeted manhours, equipment needs, and key milestone constraints. -Verify that all inspection, testing, and quality documentation requirements are incorporated into work plans. -Coordinate with the project controls team to ensure accurate forecasting and progress reporting. -Ensure full compliance with company safety standards, project specifications, and quality requirements. -Oversee craft labor crews and field staff, typically ranging from small specialty crews to large multidisciplinary teams depending on project size. -Use BlueBeam Revu (or equivalent tools) to perform design markups, review anchor bolt layouts, and communicate field-driven design feedback. -Work with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, embeds, and anchor systems.

-Familiarity with construction equipment capabilities and selection. -Safety: Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality excellence in all phases of project execution. -Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience. -Regular, reliable attendance -Proficient in Primavera P6 scheduling or similar software. -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Leadership: Proven ability to lead diverse teams, coordinate multidisciplinary work, and foster a safe, productive environment. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Strong working knowledge of BlueBeam Revu, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. -Experience: Minimum 7+ years in heavy civil, industrial, or structural construction, including direct management of anchor bolts, foundations, or similar scopes
