Manage rail transit design and construction projects, overseeing budgets, schedules, and teams.

Tasks

-Work with multidiscipline teams and manage technical personnel -See that the proactive project management system plans, organizes, controls, and evaluates all work. -Manage capital program engineering design and construction projects or programs in assigned areas from conceptual design through completion; project areas may include Trackwork, station improvements, Traction Power and electrical systems, automated fare collection, and other tasks as needed for state-of-good repair. -Perform construction project management duties; prepares cost estimates; prepares and monitors project schedules and budgets; conducts field inspections as required; monitors work in progress. -Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently. -Implement, monitor, and support company policy.

What You Bring

-10 years related experience -7 years related experience -Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license. -MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus) -A minimum 5 years project management experience -Bachelor's degree in Engineering -A minimum 2 years project management experience -Demonstrated leadership skills
