Drive Governance, Compliance & Excellence

Build & Govern Product Frameworks, Tools, and Playbooks

Define the Enterprise Product Operating Model

  • Lead the Product Guild / Community of Practice to foster alignment, learning, and best-practice sharing.
  • Define and embed governance controls for security, privacy, accessibility (e.g., WCAG), and SOC 2.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, office hours, and embedded support to product managers and product teams.
  • Standardize processes for intake, prioritization, strategic planning, roadmap governance, investment cycles, and QBRs.
  • Oversee key product performance metrics across customer impact, business value, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish consistent standards for backlog management, product documentation, experimentation, and product reviews.
  • Architect and scale the product operating model, including roles, team structures, decision rights, and funding models.
  • Govern tool stacks including Jira, Confluence, road-mapping tools, analytics, experimentation, and documentation systems.
  • Build training programs, leveling frameworks, competency models, and onboarding pathways for all product roles.
  • Support leadership with reporting, dashboards, and insights to drive continuous improvement and investment decisions.
  • Define the product organization’s shared language for success—North Star metrics, OKRs, product health indicators, ROI models, etc.
  • Design portfolio structures across product domains, product lines, and customer journeys.
  • Establish and refine ceremonies including release readiness reviews, post-release evaluations, and cross-team collaboration rituals.
  • Create a centralized Practice Portal with templates, standards, decision frameworks, and lifecycle guidance.

This is a strategic, high-impact role ideal for someone who has led product organizations, built product operating models, and driven large-scale transformation. Agile coaches or individuals with only product manager experience will not be considered.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and executive-level communication skills.
  • Familiarity with DevOps/SRE, SDLC controls, and enterprise governance standards.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across product, engineering, design, and business leadership.
  • Experience driving product maturity roadmaps across large organizations.
  • Experience leading product organizations or Product Ops/CoE teams across multiple teams/business units.
  • 8–12+ years in product management, product operations, or portfolio governance.
  • Skilled in building playbooks, templates, and practice standards adopted by cross-functional teams.
  • Prior leadership of Product Operations, Product Transformation, or Product Center of Excellence.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Excel, MS Forms, and modern product toolchains.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product development, but not a Scrum/Agile coach profile.
  • Proven expertise in designing and scaling product operating models, frameworks, and governance structures.
  • Experience in SaaS, platform ecosystems, or multi-product enterprises.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field

Pay Rate: $100.00 – $110.29/hour- Determined based on experience
