The Role

Assist superintendents in field operations, safety, scheduling, and project coordination.

Tasks

-Develops and maintains positive and productive relationships with owners, customers, sub-contractors, suppliers, Project Team and employees. -Manages preparation / execution of project closeout processes. -Provides administrative support for the Project Superintendent and leadership to project staff. -Assists in developing the project schedule, subcontracts/purchase orders and project responsibilities listing. -Assists in analyzing job costs and in the maintenance and generation of accurate reporting while assisting in analyzing of labor costs. -Work with Project Manager, Superintendent, and Project Team to understand project plans, submittals, blue prints, and construction codes as affected by local and state ordinances. -Tracks, reviews and processes change order requests. -Arranges and secures permits with local cities as needed. -Coordinates, cooperates and communicates with the Project Managers, Field Personnel and Subcontractors. -Orders materials and schedules inspections. -Assists with completing and submitting schedule updates. -Implements and trains as needed on all applicable safety processes and procedures. -Manages processing and tracking of monthly owner payments as needed.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, or related field, preferred. -Must be able to read plans and specifications. -Familiar with technology including MS Office and Outlook. -Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. -Must have a solid understanding of the construction industry, job site safety requirements, planning and scheduling, building trades, sequence of work and relevant technologies. -Minimum 4 years of experience as a Foreman, or equivalent role, in the construction industry. -Ability to read blueprints. -Experience working independently and as a part of a dynamic team. -High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Must hold a safety-first mindset with proven experience with safety programs. -Ability to assist in all aspects of the project from demo to finish. -Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
