Tasks

-Assembles installs, configures, and tests all types of cable equipment. -Maintain a positive environment for teammates and positive relationships with vendors. -Work within a team environment installing telecommunication systems, which includes cables, Set Top Boxes, set up and maintenance of the phones, voice mail, internet/router setup, and customer service activities. -Completes work orders such as installing equipment, connecting and moving devices; installing cable boxes; and troubleshooting wires not providing signal to equipment -Uses different types of test equipment and tools to troubleshoot/repair equipment. -Repairs, maintains, troubleshoots, and performs testing activities on various cable ‚ equipment, peripherals, data communication equipment, etc. -Travel between job sites may be expected for this position as occasional job duties demand. -Installs cabling for phone, internet, WAP, and television systems. Performs moves, adds, deletes, and other changes for phone, internet, and cable television uses.

-May have to maneuver around small areas such as attics, crawl hatches, etc, for cabling. -Time Management. -Organizational Skills. -May have to move on-site equipment, tools, furniture, etc, above 50 lbs. -Lift and move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. -Communication Proficiency. -Frequently required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl through small enclosed spaces. -Problem Solving/Analysis.
