What You Bring

-Proficient with TR-20, HEC-RAS, or other H&H modeling software -3+ years of experience -Knowledge of Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design -Ability and desire to participate in field work -Familiarity with Geographic Information System (GIS) -Proficient with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D -Exposure to stream restoration, dredging and/or shoreline protection projects -Strong technical writing skills -B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university -Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written with clients, regulators, public officials and team members -Knowledge of survey data collection and processing -Knowledge of Maryland drainage manual, stormwater management design guidelines, climate change action plan, and erosion and sediment control methods and practices -Registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) -P.E. license, or ability to obtain P.E. license within one year
