Facilities Director – Bendigo Hospital

Description

The Facilities Director leads the effective and safe delivery of a range of services and ensures compliance with contractual obligations. The Facilities Director is accountable for the delivery of asset management, maintenance and facilities management services at the Bendigo Hospital. This role reports to the General Manager H&E.

• Delivering contractual, commercial, cultural and transformation requirements, proactively exploring opportunities for growth and operational excellence.
• Role modelling safety leadership behaviours.
• Achieving agreed contract KPIs.

Requirements

• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience in developing solid senior stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to develop strong partnerships with external stakeholders.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline. Ideally, a degree in Business, Commerce or similar.
• Proven experience in fostering growth within an organisation.
• Experience in hard Facilities Management.
• Contract management expertise, including PPPs.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within a collaborative matrix based working environment, delivering the required outcomes against a performance-based contract with agreed key performance indicators.
• Proven experience in a leadership role preferably in a Health facility.
