Tasks

-Train and mentor junior crew members in field procedures and equipment use -Document field notes, sketches, and digital data accurately for use in project deliverables and potential legal claims -Monitor project budgets and timelines, applying cost control techniques as needed -Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including daily HSAP reviews and adherence to OSHA and company safety standards -Perform and verify survey computations such as traverse closures, level loops, and coordinate geometry -Maintain records of timekeeping, expenses, and equipment usage -Lead and supervise field survey crews on various types of surveys including boundary, topographic, construction, and control surveys -Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements and resolve field issues -Operate and maintain survey equipment including total stations, GPS units, and data collectors

What You Bring

-Must have a valid driver’s license -Associate degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field; Higher education preferred -Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying with at least 1 of those years in project management -Proficient in the use of surveying instruments and software -Capable of working primarily in an outdoor work environment and occasional office environment -Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally with or without an accommodation, sometimes over substantial distances -Demonstrated strong leadership skills -Drone license is preferred
