Tasks

We are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant/Controller to oversee the accounting, finance, treasury, audit and tax return preparation of all the different entities. The role will oversee an outsourced fund administrator who provides very good quality work and performs all the book keeping in QuickBooks. This role will be the fourth member of the accounting and finance department. The role will report directly to the CFO who will provide valuable mentorship and experience in accounting and financial services. The role requires 5 days in the midtown NYC office.

What You Bring

Strong Fund Accounting skills Professional level of communication and organizational skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel) Credit facility borrowing base experience, a plus CPA, a plus Knowledge of QuickBooks Private credit fund experience, a plus Minimum 4 years experience, private or public, in the Financial Services industry Bachelor’s degree in accounting Very strong knowledge of Excel, including VLOOP, SUMIF, SUMIFS, COUNTIF, COUNIFS and PIVOT TABLES
