Tasks

-Learns and maintains a productive and efficient BIM process. -Supports operations with the RFI process for BIM related items. -Provides BIM technical support to internal project teams. -Supports operations with self-perform model management and layout. (Self Perform VDC Focused) -Apply JE Dunn VDC/BIM processes and standards -Maintains working relationships with subcontractors and project teams. -Assembles 3D content modeled by others and models any content not provided. -Assumes responsibility for learning the VDC processes and standards; applies them to assigned projects. -Independently conducts and maintains a productive and efficient VDC process. -Provides models and documents necessary to complete scope determined by VDC leadership and project teams/internal clients. -Analyzes construction documents and models, looking for errors and omissions, and makes corrections as necessary. -Provides training to project teams on utilization of BIM tools. -Provides models and documents necessary to complete scope as determined with VDC/BIM leadership and project teams. -Reads and comprehends construction documents and project BIM requirements and applies them to VDC processes. -Communicates VDC related project constraints to supervisor and project teams in a timely manner to minimize project impacts. -Creates and maintains clear and effective project documentation, such as meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and constraint logs. -Incorporates design updates into project models. -Autonomy & Decision-Making: Makes decisions on non-routine matters, provides recommendations to supervisor, and refers all exceptions to supervisor.

-Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner -Knowledge of organizational structure and available resources -Trimble Field Layout Solutions (Self Perform VDC Focused, Intermediate) -Ability to set up and establish project specific VDC technology to support project delivery strategy – Intermediate -Trimble Tekla Structures (Self Perform VDC Focused, Intermediate) -Knowledge of BIM technology solutions including: -2+ years BIM-related experience (Required) -Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds -Proficiency in MS Office -Knowledge of BIM technologies and apply to overall VDC processes and application in the AEC industry -Trimble’s Sketch-Up – Intermediate -Gains exposure to the field layout processes. (Self Perform VDC Focused) -Knowledge of Lean process and philosophy -Ability to conduct effective presentations -In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered. -Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure, MEP) – Intermediate -Communication skills, verbal and written -Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications -JE Dunn Enterprise Mobile Solution – Intermediate -Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet business needs -Autodesk AutoCAD – Intermediate -Autodesk Navisworks Manage, including JE Dunn clash workflow and program – Intermediate -Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a construction-related field of study (Required) -2+ years construction or related experience (Required) -Ability to quickly and effectively solve complex problems -Ability to lead project teams through the VDC processes -Occasional activity: Standing, Walking, Bending, Climbing, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling -Autodesk BIM 360 Glue – Intermediate -May require periods of travel -Valid and unrestricted drivers license required -Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen -Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally -Bluebeam – Intermediate
