Overview

Operate machinery on 2nd shift, perform maintenance, read blueprints, ensure productivity.

Tasks

-Performs scribing and notching -Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards. -Gets drawings needed and cut parts without assistance -Stores parts properly -Reads blue prints as needed -Operates a computerized back stop -While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to touch, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. -Maintains productivity levels according to plant goals. -Performs weekly maintenance on shear

What You Bring

-Able to read Tape measure -Knowledge of company safety policies -High School Diploma or Equivalent Education preferred -Distinguishes between interior and exterior -The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision and ability to adjust focus. -Knowledge of gauges / types of metals -Read and write English -Prior Machine Operating experience REQUIRED
