Tasks

-Represent the planning function in customer and internal meetings. -Identify schedule risks and opportunities early. -Produce schedule-driven insights like Earned Value Analysis (EVA). -Ensure all stakeholders and suppliers are aligned with key milestones and delivery timelines. -Coordinate across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, site works, and commissioning. -Track progress and report performance to internal teams and customers with clarity and confidence. -Support commercial teams with schedule-related contract terms and reporting requirements. -Lead the development and management of integrated project schedules — from bid through to handover. -Drive proactive mitigation and support recovery planning. -Deliver clear and confident schedule presentations. -Maintain baseline schedules, perform updates, and support change control processes. -Lead schedule impact assessments for variation orders and internal changes. -Develop “what-if” scenarios and critical path analyses to optimise execution.

What You Bring

-Experience managing multiple projects in a high-paced, matrixed environment. -Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with a professional, stakeholder-focused approach. -Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, data analysis). -Solid understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes. -A strong background in project planning for complex engineering programs, ideally in defence, marine, or industrial sectors. -Familiarity with PMI or equivalent project management methodologies.
