  • Work with the quality engineering team to define acceptance criteria and refine test plans.
  • Lead and collaborate with other teams to ensure development / testing labs and demo spaces are up to date, organized, and configured properly.
  • Collaborate closely with peers to ensure cohesion across products, brainstorm new approaches, and refine ideas and plans.
  • Coordinate resolution of technical issues escalated to engineering and monitor customer support trends to maintain a high-quality product, leading and coordinating debugging and triage efforts.
  • Define and groom the feature backlog to ensure development is in alignment with strategic goals of the company and work is prioritized in a way that brings the most value to our customers.
  • Work with departments including marketing, sales, training, and support to ensure product success. Serve as a product and subject matter expert across the organization.
  • Present software, hardware, and integrated solutions virtually or in-person (as required). Participate in industry tradeshows and other key market events.
  • Write detailed user stories and requirements for new features and new products.
  • Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and technology trends, with an eye for opportunities to leverage emerging technologies. Use industry knowledge in conjunction with competitive research to help the product management team craft and refine the product roadmap. Identify opportunities for Crestron to add value and differentiate in the market.
  • Lead agile teams, including engineering teams and partners, through the development process to realize the product roadmap.

  • Proficiency with, and knowledge of, PTZ and ePTZ camera technologies
  • 3-5 years in a technical role (product engineering, product management, technical sales, support, etc.) in the AV / UC or relevant technology field.
  • Team player with visible company spirit. Demonstrable ability to quickly gain the trust of key stakeholders, end-users, and co-workers alike.
  • Product management, or working in Scrum, or other Agile methodologies preferred
  • Self-starter with proven ability to learn new technologies and an ability to quickly put that into practice in support of highly visible real-world projects. Be able to research, and become an expert, on new technologies relevant to the product line.
  • Proficiency with, and knowledge of, unified communications platforms from providers such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Cisco WebEx, including both software and hardware UC solutions.
  • Proficiency with, and knowledge of, networking technologies, streaming video protocols (H.264, AV1, NDI, etc), video processing, switching tools (Wirecast, OBS, etc) and distributed video technologies.
  • Proficiency with, and knowledge of, machine learning and computer vision technologies, AI models and integration into live video pipelines.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 3+ years working with integrated hardware and software solutions
  • Great organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to lead team meetings, set expectations, and hold people accountable for delivering the expected product.
