HazMat Industrial Services Driver/Tech - CDL (B)

Overview

Transport and clean up hazardous/non‑hazardous waste, operate equipment, ensure compliance.

Tasks

-Assists in maintaining good housekeeping at facility and on grounds. -Performs Less-than-truckload (LTL) pickups and full truck loads. -Performs pre-trip and post-trip Department of Transportation inspections. -Operates light and heavy equipment relating to clean up, including: tanker, roll-off, liquid and turbo vacuums, box trucks, tractor trailers, skid steer, forklift, pumps and pallet-jack. -Maintains vehicle logs. -Ensures customer satisfaction. -Processes hazardous and non-hazardous materials as needed. -Maintains company equipment. -Performs general housekeeping, including maintenance of equipment and site. -Maintains documentation of manifests and work orders. -Responds to customer spills and emergencies during normal business hours and after hours. -Functions as technician on lab pack, field service projects, and Industrial Service field projects.

What You Bring

-Current 40-hour HAZWOPER Training or ability to pass course upon hire. -A valid class B commercial driver’s license is required. -Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail. -Ability to use heavy and light equipment, such as tanker, vacuum truck, forklift and pallet-jack. -Skilled using hand and shop tools, and instruments. -Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.
