Tasks
Follow up on submitted tenders and maintain regular communication with stakeholders for status updates. Prepare pre-qualification documents, technical proposals, and financial bids as per tender requirements. Manage revisions, addendums, or corrigenda issued by tendering authorities. Draft and compile complete tender documentation, including cover letters, forms, certifications, and annexures. Coordinate with technical, sales, finance, and legal teams to collect required documents and data. Read and analyze tender documents to understand client requirements, technical specifications, and submission instructions. Regularly monitor government tender portals (GeM, CPPP, eProcurement, etc.) and private tender websites for relevant opportunities. Evaluate tenders based on eligibility criteria, scope of work, and profitability. Prepare regular reports on tender participation, outcomes, and win/loss analysis. Conduct internal reviews before submission to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensure all submissions comply with terms, conditions, and deadlines. The Tender Executive will play a key role in ensuring timely participation in tenders, accurate documentation, and coordination with multiple departments to deliver competitive and compliant proposals. Attend pre-bid meetings and support senior management with presentation materials when required. Communicate with clients, consultants, and government departments for any clarifications or meetings related to tenders. Upload or submit tenders on government or private portals within specified timelines. Maintain proper documentation of all tenders, including submitted proposals, correspondences, and results. What You Bring
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent knowledge of tendering process, bid documentation, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF editing tools. Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent. MBA or Diploma in Business / Project / Supply Chain Management preferred. We are looking for a Tender Executive who will manage the complete tendering process—from identifying suitable tenders to preparing and submitting proposals. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills who can effectively handle government and private tender opportunities in the solar energy sector. In-depth understanding of government e-procurement systems and online tender portals. Knowledge of solar energy sector, EPC tenders, or electrical industry will be an added advantage. Experience in a solar, renewable energy, EPC, or electrical company will be highly preferred.
