The Role

Overview

Operate shotcrete equipment, mix and apply concrete on travel projects.

Tasks

-Running and securing hoses for maximum safety and output. -Mixing shotcrete or grout based on specifications (dry and wet applications.) -Working with a Superintendent and teammates, apply your skills effectively to get work done efficiently, safely and correctly. -Operating shotcrete or grouting pumps. -Learn and apply new skills so you can do more: machines, soils technology, specialty techniques, leadership and problem-solving principles.

What You Bring

-The noise level in the work environment is moderate and hearing protection is often required. -Ability to drive (CMV or CDL) -Experience with shotcrete or grouting pumps on the job. -A history of complying with construction crew safety principles and tools. -Ability to understand and meet daily production targets. -At least one year of traveling construction labor experience. -Experience or certifications for heavy equipment operations (skid steer, forklift, Bobcat, Scissor lift, or CDL vehicles.) -A history of problem solving; the ability to grasp a problem, see a solution, and do whatever it takes to get the problem solved. -At least one year of working outside in all conditions. -3+ years of shotcrete or civil construction concrete experience -Regular heavy lifting (75lbs+) of construction materials on the job site. -Experience with casing, rock drilling or similar. -More years of experience and technical expertise with the tools and technologies in drilling. -Experience directing teams, managing customer interactions, or managing projects. -Ability to be on time, all the time, every time.
