Overview
Lead transmission line routing/siting, handling regulators, stakeholders, and contractors.

Tasks
-Organize and assist with leading public meetings, open houses, and feedback sessions that foster trust and transparency. -Collaborate with GIS, Environmental, Real Estate, and Engineering teams to define study areas and evaluate route feasibility. -Document meetings, decisions, and stakeholder feedback. -Oversee data collection and mapping to identify opportunities and sensitivities. -Keep project records organized and up to date. -Communicate key updates and escalate issues to ATC Executive Leadership. -Foster collaboration across teams and drive consensus-based decisions. -Share updates through internal and external communication channels. -Apply siting criteria and cost metrics to guide smart, sustainable decisions. -Ensure full compliance with Wisconsin Statute 1.12(6) and PSCW regulations. -Champion the routing and siting process for transmission and substation projects, guided by ATC’s criteria. -Partner with agencies like WDNR, PSCW, DOT, and DATCP throughout all project phases. -Provide expert witness testimony and serve as a regulatory liaison for major projects. -Prepare and support regulatory applications, reviews, and data requests. -Manage contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and deliverables with accountability. -Lead the selection and oversight of external routing/siting contractors. -Build meaningful relationships with community leaders, local officials, and stakeholders.

*The pay range is a general guideline. Employment offers are evaluated individually and consider qualifications, experience, academic achievements, internal equity, and business needs. Pay exceeding the posted range is considered for uniquely qualified candidates. The targeted base pay for this position is $116,500 to $135,900 annually.* Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more.
