Overview

Manage substation engineering projects from planning through execution and closeout.

Tasks

-Performs client management, project management and/or technical support activities. -Independently coordinates the work of engineers and the balance of the team throughout an entire project life cycle. -May also be responsible for overseeing nonengineering components of projects, including public involvement, environmental permitting, right of way acquisition, construction management, and other services. -Leads the QA/QC process on EPC projects and is committed to delivering world class quality. -Works independently and may direct, mentor, train, and/or supervise one or more transmission APM's, Project Engineers and/or junior design staff. -Represents HDR to support marketing and proposal development for new opportunities.
