Tasks

-Read technical diagrams and blueprints -Operates a variety of hand tools -Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components -Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices -Follow National Electrical Code, state, and local building regulations -Perform general electrical maintenance -Perform circuit breaker corrective maintenance -Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems -Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures

What You Bring

-Ability to demonstrate Lock Out/Tag Out procedures -This position may require various physical activities, including but not limited to walking, standing, bending, stretching, and using hands to grasp, push, and lift items -Strong safety background and attendance record -Ability to lift up to 40lbs -Electrician degree from a technical college -Maintain good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment -Capability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours -Completion of electrician apprenticeship -Basic math skills and ability to use measuring equipment -Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions and schematics -Ability to read a tape measure -Works well in a team environment -High school Diploma or GED preferred -Experience working as an electrician
