Busway XN Assembly Operator - 3rd Shift

Overview

Assemble and modify electromechanical busway equipment on 3rd shift

Tasks

-Perform repetitive assembly operations to include placing parts in specified relationship to each other, fastening component parts on frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies; bolt, screw, fasten parts together using hand tools or powered tools; test and adjust as necessary. -Report non-conforming items. -Gather parts and accessories required in the assembly process. -Process work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders. -Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects. -Assemble standard Sentron products according to standard procedures. -Verify that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements. -Clean and maintain equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.

What You Bring

-Ability to read blueprints. -In this role, you must be able to meet the physical requirements, which include, but are not limited to, the following: -Basic Computer Skills, and the use of basic mechanical/measuring tools -1+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Assembly -Wiring experience and technical aptitude -Ability to complete a 1/4 mile walk within 7 minutes, lift up to 40 lbs, sustain a grip of at least 26 lbs using two fingers & standing for 30 minutes. -High School Diploma / GED -SAP knowledge to complete Confirmations and Reports -Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization. -Working experience in Busway products
