Tasks

-Progress Monitoring: Continuously tracking contract performance to ensure milestones and objectives are met. -Project Oversight: Keeping site teams informed about contract parameters and ensuring they have the right resources to achieve objectives. -Contract Negotiation: Identifying, agreeing, and managing contract changes in collaboration with the Project Delivery Team. -Strategic Leadership: Managing multiple projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget and programme. -Reporting & Business Development: Providing formal progress reports while identifying new business opportunities for growth. -Compliance & Safety: Ensuring contracts adhere to all applicable legislation, Health & Safety Plans, and environmental requirements. -Subcontractor & Supplier Management: Controlling and coordinating external resources to maintain the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.

What You Bring

-Civils Experience: Demonstrated experience leading teams on infrastructure projects, with rail and/or highways experience. Any previous experience working in power stations or similar environments, along with basic electrical safety knowledge, is advantageous. -Strong Leadership Skills: The ability to manage teams and drive excellence across multiple contracts, ensuring safe delivery and quality at all times. -Planning: Demonstrated experience in managing multiple programmes through pore-constriction phase to handover. -Technical Expertise: Degree / HNC / HND in civil engineering or strong equivalent experience in a technical engineering role. -Proven Experience: Previous experience as a Project Manager in a contracting or civil engineering environment.
