Design and develop commercial restroom products using Creo, FEA, and DFMEA.
-Create test protocols, test parts, and create test fixtures. -Source parts, identify appropriate vendors, and communicate with vendors on design optimization. -Product design of components and complex assemblies using Creo Parametric 3-D modeling software. -Develop an in-depth knowledge of the commercial restroom market. -Design and build of electromechanical systems. -Perform failure analysis on parts and products utilizing FEA methods within ANSYS. -Design for manufacturing. -Perform cost analysis and tolerance studies. -Create DFMEA's for new products.
-Certified Creo Parametric user with Creo Simulation experience. -Strong analytical skills. -Comfortable working in both small teams and corporate environments. -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. -Ability to work closely with architects and sales professionals. -Bachelor's Degree in in Mechanical Engineering. -Strong hands-on experience, knowledge of manufacturing methods and creative aptitude. -Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. -Experience with NPDI in a phase gate process. -Proficient in finite element analysis with an emphasis on structural design. -Master's Degree in in Mechanical Engineering. -5+ years' relevant experience in product design. -Excellent knowledge of Solidworks and/or Creo. -Experience in design of cabinetry, sheet metal design and architecture.
