Tasks
-Take, edit and store photos for use in creating digital assets and designs. -Execute designs from concept to final production, ensuring branding consistency across all assets. -Ensure all written materials adhere to ACCO’s branding and style guidelines. -Support the creation of executive messaging, talking points and other scripts as needed. -Assist with the development of clear, concise and compelling content and messaging for various departments, events and projects for distribution across various internal communication channels. These include the intranet, digital screens, newsletters, memos and other forms of company announcements. -Design and produce a wide range of corporate visual content including presentation decks, infographics, posters, templates, banners, intranet landing pages, signage, etc. using professional graphic design programs. -Assist with the planning, promotion and execution of employee engagement events. -Manage a library of standard design assets and templates to ensure easy access and consistent use. -Work with internal stakeholders to gather information, craft key messages and create engaging content.

-Occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch. -Strong understanding of design principles and the ability to translate them into effective visual content. -Excellent communication, time management and project management skills -Detail oriented, quick learner who can take direction and work under pressure. -A bachelor’s degree in communications, graphic design, journalism, public relations or related field. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. -Problem-Solver: Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems in support of personnel, group, department, or organizational objectives. -Experience creating designs with input and guidance from others. -A solid foundation in typography, layout and design. -People Skills: Is approachable and gains the mutual trust and respect of others. Understands people’s strengths & weaknesses and actively seeks to understand other perspectives. -Teamwork: The ability to effectively work toward common goals with others by supporting, encouraging, and sharing information in an authentic and approachable manner. -Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. -Communication: Fosters open, honest, candid and respectful communication. Effectively assesses, defines and communicates issues in a timely manner, both written and verbal. -Big Picture: Understands and contributes to the organizations’ short- and long-term business strategy. On a personal level has independently developed a vision for short- and long-term career success. -Insight: The ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities. -Minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role. -Demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator and at least three years of experience -Engagement: Shows a knack for using emotion and logic to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with people. -Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. -Proactivity/Initiative: Recognizes what needs to be done and accomplishes it in a manner appropriate for one’s level/position and with minimal supervision. -Demonstrated expertise in writing and editing, with a strong command of AP Style.
